رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة تصدر بيانا تدين فيه انتهاكات مليشيا الحوثي الأخيرة

أدانت رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة (AMHRI) بأشد العبارات حملة الاعتقالات التعسفية التي نفذتها ميليشيا الحوثي المسلحة بحق قيادات بارزة في حزب المؤتمر الشعبي العام، وفي مقدمتهم الشيخ غازي أحمد علي محسن الأحول، الأمين العام للحزب، وعدد من مرافقيه وقياداته في العاصمة صنعاء، واقتيادهم إلى جهة مجهولة في ظروف مقلقة تهدد سلامتهم وأمنهم الشخصي.

إن هذه الجريمة الجديدة تأتي ضمن نهج ممنهج تتبعه الميليشيا لتصفية الحياة السياسية في اليمن عبر استهداف القيادات الوطنية، وتكميم الأفواه، وترويع المجتمع، في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي الإنساني والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية، ولقيم التعددية السياسية وحرية الرأي والتعبير.

ولقد سبقت هذه الانتهاكات اعتقالات مماثلة طالت شخصيات اجتماعية وسياسية بارزة، إلى جانب اصدارها أحكام جائرة صادرة عن محاكم صورية، وحملات إعلامية منظمة تروج لفكرة حل الأحزاب السياسية، ما يكشف بوضوح عن توجه خطير يرمي إلى إقصاء جميع القوى الوطنية والاستحواذ الكامل على الحياة العامة.

وتحذر الرابطة من أن هذه السياسات التصعيدية تمثل تهديداً مباشراً ليس فقط لحقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية، بل أيضاً للسلم الاجتماعي وأي مسار سياسي نحو تحقيق السلام في اليمن.

ولأجل ذلك، وجّهت الرابطة بلاغاً عاجلاً إلى الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة هذا النهار بشأن هذه الانتهاكات، مطالبةً الأمم المتحدة والمجتمع الدولي بالتحرك العاجل لإدانة هذه الجرائم، والضغط على ايران والميليشيا الحوثية التابعة لها للإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن جميع المختطفين والمعتقلين تعسفياً، وفتح تحقيق دولي مستقل لمحاسبة المتورطين، بما يضمن حماية القيادات والشخصيات الوطنية من حملات الاستهداف والانتقام.

وتؤكد الرابطة أنها (وشركائها )ستواصل فضح هذه الجرائم والانتهاكات أمام الهيئات الأممية والمحافل الدولية، وستبقى إلى جانب الشعب اليمني في معركته العادلة من أجل الحرية والكرامة وسيادة القانون.رابطة معونه لحقوق الإنسان والهجرة (AMHRI)

AMHRI Condemns the Systematic Abductions and Arbitrary Arrests by the Houthi Militia Against Leaders of the General People’s Congress and Other Yemeni Social Figures

The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI) strongly condemns the campaign of arbitrary arrests carried out by the Houthi armed militia against senior leaders of the General People’s Congress (GPC), foremost among them Sheikh Ghazi Ahmed Ali Mohsen Al-Ahwal, Secretary-General of the party, along with several of his companions and fellow party leaders in Sana’a, who were forcibly disappeared to an unknown location under alarming circumstances that place their safety and security at serious risk.

This new crime is part of a systematic policy pursued by the militia to eliminate political life in Yemen by targeting national leaders, silencing dissent, and terrorizing society—constituting a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the principles of political pluralism and freedom of expression.

These violations were preceded by similar arrests of prominent political and social figures, alongside the issuance of unjust rulings by sham courts, and orchestrated media campaigns promoting the dissolution of political parties. This clearly exposes a dangerous agenda aimed at excluding all national forces and seizing total control of public life.

The Association warns that such escalatory policies pose a direct threat not only to human rights and fundamental freedoms, but also to social peace and any potential political path toward achieving a just peace in Yemen.

For this reason, AMHRI has today submitted an urgent complaint to the Secretary-General of the United Nations regarding these violations, calling on the United Nations and the international community to take immediate action to condemn these crimes, to exert pressure on Iran and its allied Houthi militia to secure the immediate and unconditional release of all abducted and arbitrarily detained persons, and to launch an independent international investigation to hold perpetrators accountable. Such action is necessary to ensure the protection of national leaders and public figures from ongoing campaigns of targeting and retaliation.

AMHRI affirms that it (together with its partners) will continue to expose these crimes and violations before UN bodies and international forums, and will remain steadfast alongside the Yemeni people in their just struggle for freedom, dignity, and the rule of law.
